Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true (Alma 32:21).

I am a daughter of Heavenly Father, who loves me. I have faith in His eternal plan, which centers on Jesus Christ, my Savior.

There are three required value experiences in each of the Young Women Values. It should be signed by the parents or the leaders.

In Faith Project, these are the Required Value Experiences:

1. The first principle of the gospel is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Learn about faith from the scriptures and living prophets. Read Hebrews 11; Alma 32:17–43; Ether 12:6–22; and Joseph Smith—History 1:11–20. Read two general conference talks on faith. Exercise your own faith by establishing a habit of prayer in your life. Begin by regularly saying your morning and evening prayers. After three weeks of following this pattern, discuss with a parent or leader what you have learned about faith and how daily personal prayer has strengthened your faith. In your journal express your feelings about faith and prayer.

Discover the principles of faith taught by the mothers of Helaman’s stripling warriors. Read Alma 56:45–48 and 57:21. Review what “The Family: A Proclamation to the World” says about a mother’s role. With a mother, grandmother, or leader, discuss the qualities a woman needs in order to teach children to have faith and to base their decisions on gospel truths. How can these principles help you in your life today and help you prepare to be a faithful woman, wife, and mother? Record your thoughts and feelings in your journal.

3. Living gospel principles requires faith. Read about faith in the Bible Dictionary or True to the Faith. Faith in the Savior Jesus Christ leads to action. Choose a principle such as prayer, tithing, fasting, repentance, or keeping the Sabbath day holy. In your own home or another setting, plan and present a family home evening lesson about how faith helps you live that gospel principle. If possible, ask a family member to share an experience that has strengthened his or her faith. Share your own experiences as well. In your journal write down one of those experiences and describe your feelings about faith.

There are some for the special needs :D

1. The first principle of the gospel is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Learn about faith from the scriptures and living prophets. Read Alma 32:21 and Joseph Smith—History 1:11–20. Watch the video The Restoration, or listen to, read, or watch “How We Got the Book of Mormon” (Book of Mormon Stories, chapter 1). Strengthen your own faith by making prayer a habit in your life. Listen to, read, or watch “Jesus Teaches about Prayer” (New Testament Stories, chapter 20). Listen to, sing, or sign along with “I Pray in Faith” (Children’s Songbook, 14) to learn the pattern of prayer. Using this pattern, say your morning and evening prayers for two weeks. Color and make a flip-book on prayer (see Behold Your Little Ones: Nursery Manual, 19 ). Share what you have learned about faith and prayer with your parents or leader.

2. Discover the principles of faith taught by the mothers of Helaman’s stripling warriors. Listen to or read Alma 56:45–48, or listen to, read, or watch “Helaman and the 2,000 Young Warriors” (Book of Mormon Stories, chapter 34). Complete the online puzzle “Two Thousand Young Warriors.” Have your mother, grandmother, or leader share her testimony or a faith-promoting story. Write your thoughts and feelings in your journal. For example, “My mother, grandmother, or leader has taught me ___________.”

Living gospel principles requires faith. Faith in the Savior Jesus Christ helps us choose the right. Listen to, sing, or sign along with “I Walk by Faith”. Choose one principle such as prayer, tithing, repentance, or keeping the Sabbath day holy. In your own home or another setting, plan and present a lesson in family home evening or Mutual about how faith helps you live that gospel principle. (You can find lesson helps in Nursery Manual: Behold Your Little Ones.) If possible, ask someone to share an experience that has strengthened his or her faith. Share your own experiences as well. Decorate a frame and put a picture of Jesus Christ inside it to remind you to have faith in Him.

These are the ones which needs to be finished.

But the Additional ones, there are 4 of them and one or two that you can make.

You only need to do 3 from the Additional Ones :D

And there is also special needs version for it :D

Faith Value Project. Project is the most hardest thing in each of the value.

After you have completed six faith value experiences, create a project that will help you practice what you have learned. This should be a significant effort that will take at least ten hours to complete. Prayerfully seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost to select a meaningful project.

There are lots of suggestions for the project on the booklet or the online. But you can also make one of your own. When you are making your own project, you can get ideas from your family, parents, leaders or the Internet.

LDS Young Women

The Young Women is often incorrectly reffered as Young Woman or Young Women's. The Young Women is an organization and an official auxilary of The Church of Jesus Christ Later Day Saints.(LDS Church).

The purpose of the Young Women organization is to help each young woman be worthy to make and keep sacred covenants and receive the ordinances of the temple.

The first official organization of The Church of Jesus Christ Later Day Saints was called Young Gentlemen’s and Young Ladies’ Relief Society (Which is now Young Men and Young Women) *Youth.

The Young Women organization of the Church was founded by President Brigham Young in 1869 as the Young Ladies' Department of the Cooperative Retrenchment Association.

At the organization's founding, Young set out his vision for the young women of the Church:
"I desire them to retrench from extravagance in dress, in eating and even in speech. The time has come when the sisters must agree ... to set an example worthy of imitation before the people of the world.... There is need for the young daughters of Israel to get a living testimony of the truth... We are about to organize a retrenchment Association, which I want you all to join, and I want you to vote to retrench in ... everything that is not good and beautiful, not to make yourselves unhappy, but to live so you may be truly happy in this life and in the life to come."

All females aged 12 to 17 are members of the Young Women. The organization is headed in each congregation by an adult woman who is called the Young Women President. The president is assisted by two counselors, who are also adult women. The presidency may also ask an adult woman to be the secretary to the presidency.

The Young Women are divided to 3 different classes and they've been given a nickname.

12-13 year old is a beehive. The symbol of beehive is a beehive. This is a symbol of beehive.

The Mia Maide (Pronounced as Mai-Maid) has 14-15 years old Young Women. The symbol of Mia Maid is a Rose.

A Laurel is a 16–17 year old participant in the Young Women organization. The symbol of Laurel is Laurel wreath.

What is Personal Progress?

What is Personal Progress?

Personal Progress is a goal-setting program that helps a young woman develop a testimony of Jesus Christ and His gospel. A young woman can work on Personal Progress even if she is the only young woman in her ward or branch. Aged 12 to 17 can do personal progress during their age.
This is a copy of Young Women Personal Progress. You can get it from your ward branch. If you are not the member of the church, you can still have one!
$2.00 USD each! There are lots of languages.
You don't need to buy it. Visit the church with your member friend or a friend and ask the Young Women leader and councilors for one!

There is online version of Personal Progress: https://www.lds.org/young-women/personal-progress/

Personal Progress contains really good things and it makes progress in our life.

We also keep a journal for ourselves.
You can also get it from online or Young Women leader or councilors.

It's not that you need to keep journal in this journal book! You can use whatever notebooks you want to keep journal. Keeping journal is a good thing to do.

Personal progress gives a young woman activities to do that will help her:

  • Know she is a daughter of God.
  • Rely upon the Holy Ghost.
  • Develop personal religious behaviors, such as prayer, scripture study, obedience to commandments, and service.
  • Keep her baptismal covenants and prepare and qualify for temple covenants.
  • Develop talents and skills that prepare her for her future roles.
  • Establish a pattern of step-by-step progress through her life.

Please feel free to do personal progress and things related to Yougn Women and Personal Progress.
Even if you are not the church member, you would love to do it!

-I would love to upload more about Personal Progress!-
